Let me state firstly that this is a subject for "Political" and you'll see why. Secondly I don't see Bollywood movies often as a lot of them are not fit for viewing. However when Aamir Khan appears in a movie or produces one I pay attention. Thirdly his latest movie (showing for 3 weeks now while the typical Bollywood movies lasts for 1 week in NYS and most of America) is worth watching for the questions it raises about religion.
There are some intelligent answers about God and faith for the likes of Stormy (a declared atheist). One part of the movie asks why does God need defending when he is all-powerful. There is no doubt about Aamir's character asking that question about God. He merely states that it is a God we do not know. The kicker is that we know the God we know - the one we human create - whether Bhagwan, Allah or the Almighty God of Christ.
Je Suis attack a God Je don't know. The terrorists defended a God that they don't know. Two wrongs.....and several dead. Who needs to be a "Je Suis.....whatever"?
I would encourage you all to go check it out or see it when it comes on DVD or Netflix or amazon (yes a lot of Bollywood releases are on streaming media).
