A Brazilian consortium will be undertaking a study to evaluate the hydropower potential in the Upper and Middle Mazaruni. The US$45M study will begin in September and will be of one year duration.

$45M?? That's a lot of money for a study. We already have a lot of studies. I understand there is one called the Brazilian alternative or something like that for the Mazaruni region.
