Councie what was the date he announced for this early snap elections?

The unschooled is struggling with understanding the english language. Did Ramotar instruct GECOM to have elections by a specific date in his bullshit speech?

In an address at a press conference being hosted now at State House, President Donald Ramotar announced the following:

1. Following the opposition's rejection of his calls for dialogue to resolve the current impasse he has taken the decision that general elections is the next course of action

2. Out of consideration that the Guyanese Christmas spirit will be disrupted if elections are to be held now elections will be called early in 2015

3. He will consult with GECOM to ascertain its readiness as it is currently engaged in a registration exercise.

Good grief, these PPP boys are so stupid. Any fool should know, Ramotar has to call elections in 2015-and early 2015. His 6 months prorogue would be over.

He is bully enough to recall parliament after 5-1/2 months. Because he doan give a date for elections. Guyana's opposition gat to be stupid.

S

Ramotar is running scared lil swan he is terrified of the people of Guyana. The PPP is well aware of how hated they are in Guyana. They have been feeling it for some time now the people of Guyana see them as bandits and will vote overwhelmingly against them again in any new elections.

The PPP's own internal polls have been saying this for months.

Right Councie?

The P.P.P is the most prepared political party and is also certain of securing a majority at the 2015 polls.

Councie, Ramotar, Jagdeo and the rest of your low breed gang are cowards.

Guyanese to go to the polls next year – President Ramotar confirms

[www.inewsguyana.com] – President Donald Ramotar has announced that Guyanese will vote in early general and regional elections to elect a new government come next year – 2015.

Addressing members of the local media corps at his Main Street, Georgetown residence this afternoon, (December 06), Mr. Ramotar said this will be his next step following a failed prorogation of Guyana’s Parliament on November 10.

“We will go to elections,” he exclaimed.

The Head of State said he will confirm a date for those elections very early in 2015; explaining that it was in a bid not to disrupt the Christmas spirit.

The President reasoned that the objectives of the prorogation are lost with the Opposition refusing to engage the Executive in dialogue.

“The Opposition reacted disappointingly and rejected my decision as unconstitutional,” he added.

It seems all political Parties are in agreement that early general elections, which are not constitutionally due until November 2016, would break the current political gridlock.

Mr. Ramotar said he will consult with the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) on its readiness to hold these elections and have already written the international community signaling his intention to go to the polls.

The President said there was no guarantee that putting an end to the prorogation and returning to the 10th Parliament would allow for any meaningful dialogue, hence he decided to call elections instead of returning to a situation of no productivity and a debate on a No – Confidence Motion against his administration.

Ramotar, who heads a minority government, says he is no only confident of winning the next elections but is also sure of regaining his majority. On this note, he reasoned that Guyanese have learnt over the last three years from outcomes of having a majority opposition.

No doubt this decision by the President will be welcomed by the opposition Parties who in recent days had called on the President to set date for these elections.

It is a possibility that the announcement on the date could be made in the President’s New Year’s address.

Right Councie?

While the PPP certainly has problems the AFC might be the peacock preening its feathers while the wild cat is in the bush waiting to jump on it.

Seriously.  Is the AFC ready?   There are two issues that they must consider.  What people think of the PPP, and whether those who don't like the PPP believe that voting AFC is a wasted vote.
