AN SN headline on the CoI report on Linden said: “Linden inquiry believes police responsible for killing of three protesters”

Then in tiny writing SN wrote: "The inquiry also exonerated Home Affairs Minister Clement Rohee on the issuing of any instructions to the police during the events of July 18th.
"This is one of the questions that stakeholders in Linden and members of the opposition had wanted clarified during the inquiry and Rohee was called to give evidence"

SN is playing a deadly game in Guyana with its headlines to instigate and incite which could bring rage from a certain section of Guyanese.

What should be done now is for government to call for a commission of inquiry no matter the cost to find those who instigated and incited people to march and protest, causing death and destruction.
If those who are responsible for death and destruction are not brought to justice, then this  act will take place in Guyana over and over again and many more will be killed and more destruction will be caused.
Agricola was just a hint right after Linden of what's next.
Many of these instigators and inciters are only waiting it out on the CoI report before making their next move.
Asking Lindeners to pay their fair share for electricity usage like other Guyanese are paying should not be cause for death and destruction.
These people in Linden were being misled and those who misled them must not be allowed to do it again.
Bring them to just justice to ensure they never even attempt to do it again, if not there is no stopping them.
Their aim and agenda are to remove this democratically elected government by any means necessary.

I agree one hundred percent. Those responsible must be brought to justice. Funding for the acts of terror must also be investigated. These events must have been funded locally or externally.

Looks like you missed second standard. Read the report slowly and carefully to avoid any further embarrassment to yourself.

He should stop smoking the parsley he thought was weed. Didn't know that ground parsley was that powerful. You see what the brain is capable of? From now on, please put the ground parsley away before you do any posting on this board.

In the Stabroek News online edition which published the report in its entirety the commission said that APNU Parliamentarians Sharma Solomon, Vanessa Kissoon and Desmond Trotman must take blame for the violence and loss of lives which took place following the protest.

"Mr. Sharma Solomon is the Chairman for the Regional Democratic Council Region 10 which includes Linden the person who made the application for permission to stage “a peaceful march”. When questioned he said it did not occur to him that blocking of the Bridge was in breach of the permission which was granted to hold a peaceful march." the report said.

The commission said "This is indicative of the attitude of the organisers of the protest and they must accept some responsibility for what subsequently transpired on the 18th July, 2012 at Linden."
