I find it funny that the national sports media was more insensed with what they felt was a celebration by Heat players and fans than they were of the Celtics showing a complete lack of sportsmanship by not congratulating the victorious team as is customarily done. As the final bell rang for the Bulls/Hawks game, one announcer blurted out; "where is the celebration?" This kind of nonsense used to only happen with stupid right wingers. Had they been smarter, they would have noted that firstly, the Bulls were not home and secondly, for most of the game they had a sizeable lead compared to Heat being home and trailed between about nineteen seconds after tipoff until more than halfway through the forth quarter. The ending of Wednesday's game created the condition for what the national sports media dubbed 'celebration'

In a nutshell, the national sports media is sounding like the teaparty people. I don't think that even the championship would satisfy these guys. I do believe that every win by the Heat hurts their egos more than the losses hurt us.

Infact they reacted appropriately after overcoming a worthy opponent. Boston has had their number most of the year and LeBron has not been able to beat Boston at this level. Beyond that, there was no real celebration. Baseball players celebrate more after winning regular season games.
