Most if not all of the A.F.C/A.P.N.U criticisms against the National Budget are baseless....

The average citizen is well pleased with the proposed budget and will be very annoyed if it is cut by due to sinister motives of the AFC/APNU.

Parents are very pleased especially those whose children attends the govt schools, for the additional assistance the 2014 budget offers.

PPP gov't. is toiling to make Guyana a better place while many of us sit and criticize. We never take the time to look closely what others are doing, Instead, we go around listening to jives and lies from those who cares nothing about the welfare of the people, especially the poor. The PPP is not perfect, but they are still the best choice for governing Guyana. 

The problem here is the more closely one looks one is overwhelmed by the naked greed, and incompetence of the PPP. It is the reason practically everyone here started out on the side of the PPP and are now vehemently opposed to t heir mode and manner of governing. Poor people are still in the 40% of the hyper poor. Were it not for remittance the rest would be starving. Meanwhile the oligarchs of the PPP build palatial mansions with no explanation how they can manage it except through the looting of the treasury.
