The American Burger King fast food chain will soon have a home here as the  Corum Group has been awarded the local franchise.

“We plan to open within a six months’ time frame and we will be offering burgers, a wide range of chicken options and kids meals that the brand is known for”, Marketing Director and Vice President of the Corum Group, Navin Singh told Stabroek News.

The Corum Group also holds the Pizza Hut franchise for Guyana and its executives are also the owners for the now closed Gravity Night Club.

Yeah, hip hip hurrah, one of the most unhealthiest fast food restaurant in the world.  These jackasses think this is progress.

Bhai, they have shown Zero Progress so far. They are quite foolish to advertise this as an achievement. Junk food for the public, AFC/PNC style.

Fast food franchise like Mc Donald and Pizza Hut was established in Guyana under the PPP, and no one complains that the food was unhealthy. Are you guys making a fool of Django or yourselves?

Neither was that a sign of progress. But back then the public was not as aware of the unhealthiness of these fast food joints as they are today.  Where are the factories, manufacturing plants etc that the pnc promised? All they can bring is another retail unit that produces junk food?

When Pizzahut and KFC arrived in Guyana your hero Jagdeo screamed "progress".

I haven't seen Granger opining on this, so why do you connect this to him?  And if Guyanese are aware that this food is bad then they will not patronize them.

In 23 years the PPP didn't produce them and it is a known fact that fewer manufacturing plants existed in 2006 under the PPP than in 1976 under Forbes Burnham.

Stop ingesting Jagdeo's slop fumes.

You assumption is that Granger is the jackass,  good going in your perception of your own hero.  BTW, Jagdeo never opined on pizza hut. Also the chain left Guyana under the PPP after people's awareness changed. They came back under the PNC in the last couple of years.

Every post of yours screams that Granger is a jackass and that Jagdeo is a hero.  Guyana has many fast food chains and they didn't all appear in 2015.

And yes right here on GNI the PPP frauds were screaming all hail Jagdeo when the assorted fast food chains arrived in Guyana. D2 was derided as being anti Indian for pointing out that this was a regressive step.

I do my share of travelling around the world and every time I see an American Fast Food franchise, I cringe and smile.

Cringe because the host countries should have known better and I smile because I am an American! We bad for days, we export everything, even the unhealthy chains!

Chief

I am craving for a Micky Dees Maharaja chicken burger from India. BTW, I stop eating all fast foods from BK, MD, etc., almost two years ago. No hot dogs or processed meat from the supermarket. I stop eat American shit completely.

As usual, you make up all sort of lies. No PPP supporter ever hailed fast food joints as progress. D2 is anti Indian, he hates IndoG with a passion.
