A businessman has accused opposition affiliated Red Thread of protecting a criminal who broke into his home and stole several items. The criminal in this instance is Colwyn Harding who came to prominence when he accused a police rank of sexually assaulting him while in custody on break and enter and robbery charges. 
Despite being one of Harding's numerous victims it was the businessman was charged with abuse and assault after a confrontation between the two outside Red Thread's Princess and Adelaide Streets office. During his arraignment the businessman's lawyer told the court that his client recognized Harding as the person who perpetrated the act and confronted him which resulted in the charges. He also said that it was Red Thread which was instrumental in having the charges brought against his client.
