I don't agree with that. If I was a rich man I wouldn't like if people steal from me. Rich people also work for their money. Some of them inherited their wealth from their parents or grandparents who work hard to make sure their family generation can work, live and go to school with ease. Rich people are also generous to give many millions to charity. Why steal from them?

99% OF POLITICIANS ARE CHEAP PEOPLE.

And honesty is a very expensive gift.

Cheap people don't give expensive gifts.

Therefore never expect honesty(an expensive gift) from a politician(a cheap person).

I have said repeatedly that the politicians in the PPP have enjoyed feasting on the MILK & HONEY in the executive branch.

THEY HAVE BEEN DISHONEST.

But the reason I keep supporting the PPP is because the alternative---PNC/AFC---would be 100 times more dishonest.

The PNC stole less tan 1% of what the PPP has stolen. So if the PNC bankcrupted Guyana then the PPP has really put Guyana in massive debts tat can never be repaid.

We are doomed I tell you. The PPP won't leave office till they have stolen everything.

 The PNC had little to steal. They give us two bridges, two modern highways and all on 800K of borrowing. Indeed had they courted the west they would have prospered no less than other dictatorships of the period since the US cared little for despots in banana republics if they remain committed to anti communism.

The PPP are stealing and abusing a democracy. They are the worse of thieves to be so enriching themselves, creating deep animosities in the society and driving up our debt to untenable heights. We already owe 100 [percent of our budget and 400 percent of our national output. In four years we will owe five billion and all on a productive capacity that is almost nothing today. They are a dangerous greedy and dispicable lot.

Well, maybe if they were adept at fostering and encouraging progress and development in Guyana like the PPP there would have been more to steal.

They did indeed steal and they did indeed oppress civil rights. However, none are rich so the could not have stolen much. That much is self evident. The PPP to the contrary, are all sporting obscene wealth and have all implanted their kids in lucrative leech jobs. That is the point. The relevance is not a past based on massaging half truths lies and hapless myths but a present naked and bare before your eyes if you care to apprehend the reality of it.

I wonder who lives by rationalizing a choice between two evils in instances as this? Surely we are not bereft of good sense and sound moral framework to know a right way and a better way.
