I don't know why you and baseman are so eager to write off Indians. All that has happened is that Indians will now learn that they will have to form multi ethnic coalitions, which means that they must embrace others.  If they do so than APNU is not assured of being around for ever.

You mean like how Grainger form a 60/40 coalition  then back out of the deal after [according you] he didn't need them to win...

Did he back out the deal?  AFC has their cabinet seats, though apparently less than 40%, unless more ministers are added.  Nagamootoo is PM and Harmon is assigned to watch him.

How is Granger backing out of the deal?  Now if elements within the AFC decide that they need to protect themselves against Moses one day waking up in a bad mood and leaving, forcing an MONC, that appears to be an internal issue.

Baseman don't write-off Indians but it obvious, Indians tend to go after each other individually to the detriment of the masses.  The PPP assumed power in 1992 and went after Indians associated with the PNC over the years.  Then they are out, other Indians eagerly set upon them trying to chop them to pieces while you guys prepare the BBQ grill for the feast.

Regarding the broadening of the base, I'm 100% on your side.  They need to re-brand and even drop the name PPP as the PNC did.  They need to adopt an ideology, a credo on which they can rally their "troops" around.  They need to shed the vestiges of a bygone Cold War era, become less Anti-US and more nationalistic.  They need to differentiate themselves from the PNC in a pro-Guyana way than their anti-US stance which makes the PNC's live easy in that respect.
