See Dr. Phil for your fear. Globalization has been eroding India's caste system. On the other hand, there are lots of criticism that due to the outsourcing and globalization, the American culture and values  are being imposed. In the high tech industry, talent is the only caste that matters.

America doesn't have culture or values... it all about making money. Or rather, yes they do have values, the corporate values of the CEOs always trying to rip off everyone else.
