BW has been running nonstops from JFK to GEO practically all year. This is why Vishnu is upset. He expected that BW will continue to force every one to go thru POS and DL to continue their high fares. Both responded, and so kept most of their customers, hence EZjet couldnt compete in a manner that would have allowed them to cover their costs. As with Redjet, so with EZjet, a poor marketing plan and under estimating the competition led to their failure, but they instead blame the competitors for not allowing Ezjet to mug them.
AA is not going to fly down from MIA carrying a scant 40 passengers. AA is no longer interested in nonstops from JFK, except to the northern Caribbean islands and strong tourist destinations like Bdos. Jetblue and others do not have planes that can comfortably reach GEO w/o diluting revenues through flying the planes part empty.
GEO is of value only to those interested in JFK and DL is already there.
What you are invested in has no relationship to the fact that you continued to scream about a problem which was resolved long ago. CAL has been running nonstops to GEO from JFK, and started from Toronto when they got flag carrier status, which apparently they needed to fly that route. Any way airlines do not run their operations to lose money and if GEO doesnt fit their purposes they will not fly there. GEO works for DL and BW out of North America. No other credible outfit is interested.
