Wasn't the government talking recently of how they can't get the Canadian government to extradite Charrandas to Guyana to answer to the stupid charges that Williams alleged? Ramjattan said that the government didn't have strong enough evidence to convince Canada that Charrandas committed a crime. Given that Charrandas was walking around freely in Trinidad, it seems like the government doesn't have enough evidence to convince the Trinidad to assist them either in arresting Charrandas.

Charandass showed up in court smiling from ear to ear.  Meanwhile, Basil Williams hiding under his bed in Guyana.  When he attempted to speak Justice Saunders said, “We cannot hear you.”  I suspect Guyana had blackout and his internet connection was dying.  So court was adjourned for a few minutes so Basil can fix up his thing.
