Yuj, this is very funny because I had suggested that BJ should help the Candidate, campaign for him, etc. Then some big mouthers (not you) asked me why should he campaign for that person, the Candidate should do his own campaigning, bla bla bla. Remember those discussions? Maybe  BJ and his folks are getting ideas from GNI.  

Gerhard mentioned that politicians in Guyana read what’s posted here at GNI. While I think that no one here at GNI is a member of any party, our opinions still count although sometimes they might be having a good laugh too because GNI is like a bar. 

Gail admitted that the PPP made mistakes at the recently held dinner in Toronto during a question and answer session. 

Honestly, the next election will be very close. I would have preferred a July election so that all parties can be prepared and have an equal chance at winning.

They understand that they are spending too much money to allow a little despot pot with a nasty mouth mess up their runnings.  They will know how much Jagdeo loves Maduro, and Trump's people also know this.

US oil production will overtake Russia in three years and Saudi Arabia in 5 years. Exxon and Hess investing big in the Permian basin.  Production is expected to increase by 1 million per day.  I don't see the price of oil recovering for a very long time.  I don't think Guyana will be getting significant amount of royalties for a long time. If oil price remains low you can expect the oil companies to show little profit or no profit for years in Guyana's case since they have to write off their exploration and costs.

These same oil companies operate in hostile countries. It was the PPP who invited In Exxon.  PNC behaving worse than the Muller probe!
