I am aware of this, Prash; it took place many months ago. He was indeed caught attempting to steal collection boxes from several mosques and churches and was eventually caught by the police. Based on what we found out,  he was going through hard times. Our mosque gave him (via the police) $500 and a large hamper of foodstuff on his promise that he would not commit such acts in future. 

We had a similar situation at a Mindir in Queens where my famaliy goes. A guy broke in and stole money from the charity box. His picture was caught on camera. Police is still looking for him.

Good stuff Keffer.  The brother must have been very desperate for money to do these acts.

That is not good enough or not enough. With all the affluent in the gathering, the man should have been given  a house and a car. AND gainfull employment bestowed upon him. Certainly, all of that would have changed his future.

It's sounds like you envy Chief and Keffer that the likes don't come to your clap hand church.
