You have to be out of your damn mind t hat what you saw there is happening in NA. Even LA is showing a decline of its ozone blanket that we all came to know in the 90's and that was not half as bad as this which is particulate and injurious to the lungs.

But let's face it, this thread is really about the usual D2/AFC Anglocentric racism.

That is good western tech put to work, Indeed I am Anglocenteic as opposed to Asia, or arabiacentric, The only problem with you and that is you are here and not there.

Correct. Look at LA.

You are the ever present ignorant twit. Cali has great emission standards and it is not the dredges of backwoods thinking that pervaded china in its backward crawl to industrialization. I call it backward since it sees its people health ( despite having the information) as expendable. LA is a bowl ringed with by high mountains so it traps ozone, That is different from the caustic particles of coal fired plants that oppresses Beijing. WHat is happening there is called an "airpocalyse"

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Sometimes American reporters hide what is  in their own backyard but venture out to report "outside" of their own backyard. Did you actually take a close look at the pictures ? They are worth a thousand words.

Like the AFC anti Chinese stand, you have joined the AFC anti Chinese bandwagon. Guess what, those pictures that I posted speak for themselves. I need not say anymore.

Dude you are a simpleton. There are numerous articles presently trending with respect to the air quality, its composition, is injurious aspects  and the Chinese acknowledging failed policies.

I am spearing to what is currently in the news and because China is one of the nation that derailed the Kyoto Protocol which, if it existed, would have afforded unfettered access of Guyana to billions of dollars in the long term. You are too much a dumb ass to know this. The US withdrew 34 billion because the Chinese and Indians said they are going their own way.

These two nations e unquestionably the worse global polluters and the most polluted places on the planet. Harping on LA's polluted air  when it is not in kind or scope  as the horrid conditions of  big cities in these nations is being your usual simplistic self. China even had one of its lakes self ignite because of pollution yet it fails to update its environmental laws to meet modern air quality and health requirements.

It may be "western tech," but there is not one single commercial Maglev train operating in the "West," for the simple reason that in the "West" they refuse to make long-term capital investments, preferring to have a strictly casino economy. Your beloved colonial masters believe that they can simply consume the products made in those producing nations which you denounce -- without paying for them.

This is Winter, so you have in Beijing a combination of desert sand, fog and the normal pollution to produce a grimmy  picture that can be politically manipulated by global-warming true believers who fear winter might kill their expensive propaganda campaigns.

In summer you'll hear them pointing at heat records trying to make sure people won't notice that these are accompanied by expressions like " the hottest day since..." or "the hottest day in the past xx years", which would prove that there were hotter days in the past.
