Richmond Hill is divided into 4 City Council districts.

As such, we are just a part of another district. We have a large portion in District 28. We even have more registered voters in the Richmond Hill / South Ozone Park community than across the Van Wyck. Many, self appointed candidates have tried and failed.

This development presents another opportunity.

Who will be the community's choice?

I am not familiar with NYC politics even though I visit often.

My observation is that despite a very large concentration of Guyanese, there is no proper representation at the political level. It is time that Guyanese elect one of their own.

Another observation is that it is mostly Indo Guyanese in the areas that I visit, why can we not have an Indo Guyanese representing their community ?

It may appear that Kari is a disgrace to the community.

Kari is well known to me and has served our community without wanting anything. He is   an old student of Queens College and  contribute his time and money to Queens College Old Student Association.

In the field of journalism and culture he has also made a significant contribution here in our diaspora. He is kind and generous and gets along well with others in our community. I had the privilege of visiting his job and he is well respected and love by everyone there especially the  bosses. As far as I am concerned Kari is an asset to our community and mankind.

Yugi you and your type here on GNI love to spew nonsense about folks who disagree with your line of political thinking.
