Reagan did not improve things. The other countries catch up with the mess in America. Hispanics were crossing the border in order to work for far lower wages so that costs could be reduced. The collapse in the economy saw a decrease in demand for energy which in turn caused a reduction in energy prices. The total effect of this was a reduction in inflation due to reduced demands in the economy.

Just from the postings I can safely conclude that most are on the outermost perimeter of the American politics and post to just their presence

12 million jobs in 4 years---that's 250,000 jobs a month---it's quite possible if Romney gets the country back on track.

In 2012 the US has been averaging nearly 140,000 jobs a month---actually in the first two months we had job creation of 250K+ in both months.

Romney intends to open up the energy sector---he'll slash many of the Obama anti business regulations---and on the whole he will be waaay more business friendly than Obama---jobs are created in the private sector when the environment is business friendly---Obama has been anti-business; Romney will be pro business.

So 12 million jobs under President Romney---that's quite possible---and if Romney fails to deliver on his promise---he'll be a one term president like Obama.

Jobless figures around the world are going up. That was the root cause of the Arab spring. The US job figures won't go down as long as the US continues to export manufacturing and import everything else from abroad. What percentage of computers phones, and televisions sold in the US are mode abroad? And who is doing the manufacturing of those goods? Obama cannot force US business to employ people for whom there are no jobs to create. The country has created a demand for foreign goods so now even the Hispanics are more expensive to hire than it is to pay someone in the Far East to do the job abroad and import the end product.

So the whole world going to the dogs, then vote Obama.  What a bunch of crock and BS.  A large part of the global economic slump is rooted in the US slump, not solely but significantly so.

66% of "White Americans" make up what percentage of the population?

I'll help a bit, Whites are approx. 72% of the population, so if 66% or just over half of those whites vote for Romney, he's in deep dodo.

Obama will win hands down because the alternative is more of the same: that is Bush. Look at the achievements of Obama and you will find a President who is for the people.

If whites make up 74% of the voters in 2012--and Romney gets 3 or 4% more than McCain---then it's lights out for Obambi.

RE: THE BLACK VOTE

In the 2008 election, blacks made up 13% of the voters---Obama received 95% of the black votes; McCain 4%---prior to 2008 blacks made up about 11% of the voters in presidential elections---but in 2008 they were excited about muslim born black marxist Odinga Hussein Obambi.

BLACKS HAVE SUFFERED MIGHTILY UNDER OBAMBI.

If the percentage of black voters in 2012 returns to the usual 11%---Odinga will lose big time.

Remember, of the 52.88% of the popular votes Obama received---Blacks contributed 12.35%(0.95 x 13%).

Now, if the black turnout in 2012 returns to the usual 11% and Obama gets the usual 95%---then blacks would make up 10.45% of the votes he gets---that's nearly 2% less than the 12.35% blacks contributed to his over all vote in 2008.

CONCLUSION:

If the black turnout drops from 13% to 11%---or even 12%---and if 3% of the whites change their vote from Obama to Romney----then Obama will lose the election.
