Iw was true in 1989 but thank GOD the PPP came to the rescue in 1992, build Guyana back to progress only to see it back to 1989 and getting worst in less than 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stabroek News did not want to reinvent the wheel. They see Guyana slipping in the abyss, so they decided to just reprint the article reminding the nation of history is about to repeat itself.

Indeed history is repeating itself from PNC-Burnham's time of 1964 to 1992 and now with PNC-Granger from May 2015.

Of note, in the 1964 PNC/The United Force period The UF was quickly eliminated and the PNC had absolute control until 1992.

Currently, it is a matter of time when the PNC will "boot" the AFC out.
