I met TK at UG during the election. He convinced me not to vote PPP. Congrats! I attended his lecture at UG last year.

I  strongly   believe it  was TK's  thesis on  the  Dankey  Kart Economy that  did  it  for  him. Now  Bharrat Jagdeo gon  bex  bad.   Congrat  Dr. Khemraj!

TK has only one way to go: onward and upward. A promotion well deserved through his diligence, perseverance and sheer intellectual substance.

Well done TK.  Usually Professors put me to sleep with their boring theories.   Nevertheless, well done.

In one of his articles he wrote and which I supported: We might not need to remove the Proportional Representation when electing the President and Prime Minister. However, I believe MPs must come from certain geographic locations. This also allows independent candidates to challenge the main political parties even though they are likely to win the presidency. Geographic representation could also facilitate ethnic representation – especially for Indigenous people who really should have the power to elect their own leaders rather than the ethnic Indigenous leaders Freedom House provide.  This would move beyond the tokenism enshrined in the outboard engines and all terrain vehicles handed out to Indigenous folks just before the election. It is time the Indigenous people mobilize to be represented as a group in Parliament.

Congratulations on your academic successes but most  of all thanks for helping us rid the Guyanese nation of the barnacle-like parasitic strangle hold on power by the Stalinist PPP.

The man might be on the next PPP list of electoral candidates. He is now eminently qualified to be Fine Ants Minister.

I am certain the thought is so alien to him that it could originate only in the narrow mind of a consummate PPP gofer.

Why would you want to call a former ROAR activist a consummate PPP
Gofer?? Do you know I battled the PPP for many years on the question of "Indian Security Dilemma"? 

Why would I care to know that? Would it make your succumbing to their wiles any more palatable or would the understanding that soup can indeed be a powerful lure to the weak be more compelling? 

I am simply stating a fact that to TK, the PPP's ideology is far too alien to his frame of reference.

Ideology is a dead issue.  TK loves dhal and he sitting at the side patiently waiting to be offered a cup of it. His behaviour is indicative of man who wants to join the party, but only on condition his receives a good cup of dhal.

Here we have the record of a man of industry being rewarded for his arduous work and yet you pontificate that he waits for a hand out. Here is the offering of rewards for effort and yet you suggest he pines for a handout.

Obviously, good sense or moral grounding were not a common fare in your household so you remain stunted of mind for want of goodness and charity in your heart.

You are that pitiful being one often hears lamenting "woe is me" and "what have I done to be so oppressed by life". Take some time off for reflection because it is indubitable that the universe inevitably rewards all intentions in kind.
