The loss of Nebraska's Bob Kerrey's Senate seat is a heavy blow. It means that Senator Kerry of Ma would not be able to leave his seat for the Sec of State position. Unless they find a strong candidate to beat Brown who will definitely throw his hat in the ring, Kerry will have to keep his seat.

THe republicans are married to the Tea Party and a divorce would tear them apart.

Obama's win means we will not have to face the Neo Cons for a second time. That alone is compensation.
