Trump is such a narcissist that he has the need to demand credit for everything. When all his people spent two straight days claiming Assistant AG was carrying the slop can over the Comey firing and then Trump insisted yesterday that he was the one carrying the slop can, not Rosenstein.

I think i heard that the assistant AG threatened to resign. So they had to change the story slightly. The assistant AG didn't want to be the scapegoat
