This submission was made by Senior Counsel Douglas Mendes during the virtual hearing of arguments in the matter challenging Chief Justice (ag) Roxane George’s recent decision that results from the National Recount must be used as the basis for a final declaration of the March 2 elections’ results.
“The High Court does have the jurisdiction to make such orders as may be necessary to resolve that impasse…[But] You are allowed to intervene in order to ensure that the process is completed; and in the circumstances of this case, the only intervention that you can make is to require Mr. Lowenfield to comply with GECOM’s direction to prepare his report in accordance with the Recount. That is the only basis upon which you can intervene,” Mendes stated in response to questions posed by Appellate Justice Dawn Gregory.

It is criminal of the PNC to ask the judges to rule in fovor of Lowenfield using Mingo's fraudulent tabulation which include twenty something thousand votes that were not even in the boxes which already include thousand of votes of non-existent people (either dead or went overseas.
But based on how Dawn Gregory-Barnes conducted her courtroom yesterday it looks like she is strongly inclined to do so. 5 long days only serves to allow the PNC opportunities to threaten the other two judges.
I was also wondering why the only PNC controlled judge announced until Thursday. Typical PNCite, they are plain lazy.
This is a matter of national importance and an earlier PPP court victory would have been welcomed. They will try to use the few days to threaten the other two fair and balanced judges to no effect. People are now willing to defend democracy and stop allowing a small group of wicked and racist Blackman to return Guyana to dictatorship.

They are stalling for time to prepare another petition to the CCJ if they lose this appeal.
