Education Minister Priya Manickchand has disclosed that approximately 170,000 students from the public system have been affected by the closure of schools – a decision which was made after identifying the threats of COVID-19.
She was at the time presenting at the Extraordinary session of the Global Education Meeting (GEM), organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

Why is this newsworthy? What is newsworthy is that the PPP is mismanaging the COVID response. People are dying at an alarming rate and the government doesn't seem to know what to do.

It is not possible to avoid COVID. It is every where, the affluent has schemes how to do head dances not to breathe in the virus.
