Chief/Jalil, maybe the Indians who were outraged by this killing are conflicted with the clearly anti-Indian FaceBook posts seen on Crum-Ewing's page.

Speaking up and attending the funeral might have been mute on their part not because they condone such killing - far from it. As a civil rights killing they must feel anger. But in the context of the one-man crusade - without backing - and in the absence of knowing the killers and their motivation, you can see the lack of outpouring at a funeral or in the air waves.
