This is a sick form of character assassination that speaks to the amoral character of this administration. This fellow, mr Crum, may not have been a threat to the administration but they sure did awful things to him to try to make him desist from his one man protest.

I read his facebook page and while there is a few minor things there that can be construed as prejudicial, the totality of his argument is framed on behalf of the poor and dispossessed. The PPP dogwhistles every day, they had that awful racist commentary on their editorial page of the chronicle that demeaned youngblackpeople directly. The writer still writes for the news paper and the PPP power structure still treats her as their own. 

Worse, Mr Crum was out there protesting as he saw it a completely breakdown in the PPP power structure for morality. On that account he was right. Taking what was his main gripe, the AG sitting in his office in complete disregard for the awful things he did not deny saying is proof enough. Anywhere else that fellow would be history.

As for the flag, why not? Did he not serve? Why  associate him with Blackie if not as a direct attempt to ruin his character? Is Mr Ramotar racist inclination being exposed here? And he was a citizen. He was making a big mess of things shouting them down. He clearly was not insignificant. 

Every Guyanese has the right to be buried with his or her coffin draped by the Guyanese flag. If Ramotar thinks otherwise then we should dump his corpse over the seawall when he passes away.

The police still haven't found Courtney's killers but Ramotar says APNU+AFC sacrificed him for political mileage.

Ramotar knows the police can't and won't question him on his outlandish and slanderous statement.

The worrying aspect is that there are adults who would unquestioningly and unquestionably accept Ramotar's ridiculous allegation.

Thankfully, there are many others who can think for themselves and who would readily dismiss Ramotar's pronouncement as toxic trash.

Ramotar is openly declaring that Courtney was slain by the PPP. Once the president mentions the opposition in the same sentence as the murder of a political activist, then the president is involved. Notice that Jagdeo did the same when Sawh was slain.

“He was no threat to the PPP, he was no threat to the Government, he was more of a nuisance value than anything else, and he was spreading a lot of racist talk on his Facebook,” the President said.

Ewing behaved like a typical hooligan, read his Facebook postings.

I myself would not be surprised if an investigation nailed the PNC regarding this matter.
