The days of PNC/GDF rule should never be allowed to return to Guyana.

Who is going to stop them if they get enough votes? The PPP is wearing the PNC of the past like a political amulet to protect itself from getting booted out when they have comported themselves in worse ways.

 

There can be little the PNC would have done to the Guyanese people that the PPP has not surpassed. Their regime is typified by plunder and pillage and nepotism. Making the distinction between them and the PPP is like trying to find ones way through a heavy morning mist.But the PNC were 3 decades ago!

 

Despite all of the admonitions, all of the rebuke to corruption and all of the fear mongering of the past. The PPP is the present and the real and present danger. No amount of pretense that the PNC will be worse ought to scare anyone.

 

Black people are not worse thieves than Indians.  The Indian based PPP government has demonstrate aptly their capacity for wanton thievery.

 

If anyone cares about corruption the warnings should not be about the PNC but about humans and their capacity for thief given the opportunity to do so unrestricted.

 

We need to fabricate systems to prevent that so the idea of fearing the PPP or the PNC is a moot question.

The PNC made rigging fashionable and destroyed Guyana. It takes years to recover from that mental assault. That is the point.

That point is well worn, blunt and rusted out.  Rwanda has been remaking itself into a thriving democratic model in the heart of Africa after its genocide in 1994 while we still talk of PNC wrong-doings of the 60s, 70s, and 80s as the "be-all and end-all" to Guyana's problems.

 

Guyana lacks courageous and innovative leadership on all sides to break the impasse and introduce a new paradigm.  That is the crux of Guyana's problems.

The PNC, their leaders and their supporters are the most barbaric, uncivilized, and ill-bred swines you'd find anywhere on planet earth. Never again must the PNC rule Guyana. During their illegitimate tenure ruling Guyana the PNC ruined, pauperized and bankrupted Guyana.

 

The PPP has been ruling Guyana since 1992, and during their time in office Guyana has experienced significant growth and development--the country is on the move.

 

Of course, there are evil, wicked, and loathsome monsters and losers like Moses Nagamootoo, Khemraj Ramjattan, and Gerhard Ramsaroop who are working assiduously to help the PNC get back into office.

 

Thankfully the Guyanese people will always ensure that loser Moses, loser Khemraj and loser Gerhard forever remain losers and the repugnant PNC forever remain in the opposition.

The Rev sees no major problem in Guyana. Economically the country is progressing nicely and politically there will always disgruntlement and discontent among the masses. That being said, I personally do not support Afros not having equal opportunity in Guyana.  It was good to see some of the concerns of people like Nigel Hughes being addressed.  I am glad to see more Afros in visible positions, e.g. ambassador, etc.

Hey Rev, what's the date of this video?  isn't this the PPP Guyana?  Why point to the AFC/PNC?  The sugar industry was the PPP support backbone, don't point fingers, address the issue.

All political parties must work together for the good of Guyana. Politicians who in the past committed acts of misappropriation of funds while the poor suffer, should be held accountable.

 

This president has indicated his willingness to work with all parties and I hope that Guyana can turn a new page with a new political agenda to end poverty and create jobs for those who are unemployed.

 

Racial mistrust between the two major race can come to an end when our politicians act in the best interest of the people.

I spoke on this matter sometime aback, and, as I said then I will say now; A country divided cannot achieve any progress. The mistrust of the two major races started generations ago. It will take someone with strong leadership qualities to bring the peoples of Guyana together. Talking about racial unity and harmony is not going to cut it. Someone needs to lead by example, and the people need to find some common ground or inspiration for the advancement of the country as a whole.
We have the resources, more land than we need and less than a million people to take care of. Yet......
