I was at Sandals in Jamaica, no Guyana Rum. They serve Appleton 12years and their favorite Ray& Nephew White Rum[over proof].

The demand for Guyana Rum is high World Wide, every year they won the TOP awards, according to my sources in Guyana ,DDL cannot keep pace with the orders. To get a bottle of the 25years ElDorado sometimes you have to wait 2 to 3 weeks after ordering in Toronto.

 Guyana's Rum will always be known as Liquid Gold.

Maybe they couldn't supply enough to meet Sandal's needs but they did sign an agreement with them.

Winning top awards doesnt mean large sales. While Guyana rum is well perceived by rum connoisseurs it isnt a top selling rum. Clearly DDL's production is limited, maybe because of the focus on premium blends.  Appleton has bigger sales, and definitely those Puerto Rican brands.

Some of you PPP supporters in North America believe that only Indians and Amerindians want this gov't. out of office.  You are chaps are wrong!. Many black people want this gov't. to get out office too. The layoffs in Guysuco and in other areas of the economy have affected them too. The PNC and AFC are deathly afraid of elections.  They are hoping to survive in office till the oil money starts to flow.  The day of reckoning will be here before any money flow in from oil.

Billy, all are suffering under the PNC. The hard core GNI RACIST PIGS will forever be who they are. The Guyanese people are not stupid like them.

Nonsense, under PPP they drink because they were happy. In fact they were buying the more expensive 5 and 10 year old. Now under PNc/AFC, the people drink because they sad, no more 5 and 10 year old, now they drink the cheap rum at  greater volume.
