Dear Donald Ramotar and all those supposed old school self-deluding spineless 'Jaganites' in the PPP. Proroguing Parliament isn't a way out for the Peoples Progressive Party/Civic: you can't escape the consequences of the direction you've allowed the Party to take. It doesn't end miraculously with Cheddi rising from the grave and leading party faithful to victory. It ends with his party reduced to using Forbes Burnham's constitutional failsafe to temporarily avoid facing the will of the people. And the only person to benefit from this, is the man who will be effectively in charge, Bharrat Jagdeo.
