New York police have opened an investigation after a Twitter user sent death threats to CNN's Don Lemon

One of the messages, according to The Hill, read:“U ra pile of rotting dog---t ,racist,communist,socialist, Liberal moron a-----e.i will find u Uwill pay.ill see u real soon."

Police did not give an exact motive for the messages, but Lemon did read an impassioned open letter on air to Donald Trump on Tuesday after the president was accused by the widow of a recent fallen soldier of poorly handling the condolence call. Trump has refuted the widow's accusations. Could little Donald do this?

Attacking a journalist's life is totally unacceptable and this should be investigated at the highest level.

Democracy is about passionate political debates but it ends right there, no one's life should be threatened, left, right, conservatives or liberals.

Burnham and Hoyte displayed that type of low class behaviour in threatening those opposed to them and now Granger seems to he headed in the same direction.
