Does anyone recognize a particular person behind Charandass Persaud ?

That’s doesn’t mean anything Django, listen to the man interview last night... he had enough with the AFC. He’s tired been the yes man, knowing it’s wrong. He couldn’t live with it anymore.

The coalition  members are not β€œ die hard β€œ party members to APNU, so this should not be a surprise.

I did and agreed with him. The PNC got a wake up call, time for the party to change their ways. Some members became power drunk in only 3 + yrs .

Third force has a lot of power. They brought down the PPP and now they crippled the PNC. Future governments will be wary of this day and what could possibly go wrong.

You have noticed, in Guyana's political context, electoral changes needed for post alliance to keep the two major parties guessing who will be in government.

It's good for Guyana the PPP and PNC are kept in check.

Third parties also have a negative side.  People use it for vindictive reasons. I prefer two powerful parties who can match wits and and go toe to toe with each other.  That's democracy.  The power should be with the voters. Not a third party seeking self interest.

In Guyana, a third party is democracy, as demonstrated last night.

Guyana's demographics and due to race based voting,  third party are needed for true democracy. One party rule for continuous cycles aren't true democracy.

There will always be race based voting.  But it's not as popular as you think.  There are more Indians in the PNC and more blacks in the PPP than any other time in our history.

And then there are those like Nagamootoo who went to a third party because he was not Presidential candidate.  His family from Whim hired a bus and showed up at Parliament building yesterday.

I never said the country is not divided.  I said we have gotten better.  There is still a lot of work to do.

Did you have anyone check on Naga last night? He must have taken extra heart and BP medications. Anyhow, I wish him all the best and hope he has a comfortable retirement. He unleashed 3 years of suffering on the Guyanese people and he will have to answer to his maker for that.

Naga and members of the gov't meet with the press last night, he is in good shape.

What the r@ss with wishing and answering ? deeds are judged here not  by divine creator, well that's my belief.

Don't need to be hostile. I was just concerned about the man. He is not in the best of health.

I don't believe you, all of a sudden now you have a conscience? All these years fetching pnc slopcan, you never commented on how afc was just voting blindly along PNC lines in parliament. But everyone is redeemable, even you who now claim to have seen the light.
