In the eighties an Iraian refugee worked for our company. The fella was a bigot-he hated people of colour-indians included. He claims people of colour were once faired skin but some omen made them and their descendant dark in complexion.
Down and out and working for a coloured man, yet determined about his beliefs.
He informed me that muslims are going to rule the world because they have a messiah who will appear in a remote area close to borders of Afghanisatn but in Iran.
That belief must have been around for awhile.
About two years back the Iranian President made mention of it.

It is not the messiah who will appear there, but the unchrist. Israel will eb almost invaded before Jesus incarnate arrive and destryed the invaders. then rule the world for 1000 years just like Lord Rama did.
