Where were the Richmond Hill crew.???

Is this an exclusive Afro Guyanese club ? How come Indo Guyanese were left out ?

Good for dem rass.

1.  According to Kari they will not only show up at the Diwali parade but cover the 3rd prize.

2.  Shouldn't you be asking why no Indians want to be involved?

I have two theories.  One,  no money in it.  Two, Indos only join groups which they can control, and based on the pic, this isn't one where they can do this.  In Guyana Indos don't get involved in civic organizations which aren't based on religion, or business, or politics.

Now chatter among yourselves.

I'm on to you.

Don't need to say anything.  Just wanting to know when Bibi is going to corner you and use her feminine wiles either to rape you, or get you to marry her.  This female definitely thinks of you when she pleasures herself with a vibrator.

Any way I am watching how a group of blacks donated to the Diwali parade and get accused of being an anti Indian group.  This is Guyana, so why the shock.

Kari as much as you try to hide the existence of Indo racism, and pretend that it isn't as important a feature as Afro racism your buddies here prove you wrong all the time.

Now yuji could congratulate these folks for reaching beyond their normal cultural context, but we see what he writes instead.  And there are many more like him.

The Students Conference that was.......

QC Alumi NY to host confab with students here

THE Queen’s College of Guyana Alumni Association (NY), Inc. (“QCAANY&rdquo is visiting its alma mater in Georgetown on October 29th and October 30th, 2015.

The purpose of the visit is to host a conference with students of Queen’s College with participation from students of Tutorial High, North Georgetown Secondary, Annandale Secondary, Richard Ishmael Secondary, Christ Church Secondary and Tucville Secondary schools.

During the conference, alumni from Guyana, Atlanta, New York, West Virginia and London will come together to share their knowledge and expertise by leading seminars and exercises that will engage and expose students to age-appropriate matters.

The lineup of eighteen presenters will include Dr. Terrence Blackman, Mr. Newell Dennison, Dr. Paloma Mohammed and Ms Amlata Persaud, Guyana’s first female Rhodes Scholar, and reflects the diversity of scholarship, interest and talent that the school and Guyana have produced.

The agenda will include discussions on strategies to stop bullying, developing critical thinking, youth volunteerism, creative problem solving using the arts, the effects of drugs and alcohol on social development, education and development, the power to change the world, and goal-setting and time management, among others.

The upcoming conference follows other enrichment services provided by QCAANY that began with a highly successful conference held in 2014 that engaged students during the school’s 170th anniversary reunion.

“Our students benefited immensely from last year’s conference,” said Ms. Jackie Benn, Queen’s College Headmistress, “and based on the topics on this year’s programme, this conference has the potential to be even more beneficial.”

She noted that as the country approaches its 50th anniversary, critical thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit, both topics to be discussed at the conference, are vital to the sustained development of our nation.

“The selection that the New York Chapter has put together for our students, coming on the heels of their other offerings, is very impressive,” she said, adding that the teachers and students cannot contain their excitement. Ms. Benn anticipates that this type of interactions between returning professionals and the school will result in enhanced leadership and socialization skills within the student body The President of QCAANY, Mr. John Campbell, in thanking the volunteers who are giving generously and enthusiastically of their time, said that the school’s motto of Fideles Ubique Utiles, Faithful and Useful Everywhere, is the foundation upon which alumni come together to energise and encourage the rich tradition of excellence and camaraderie that Queen’s College is known for. Further, he stated that he warmly welcomes and looks forward to the full participation of the sister schools.

To the extent that Queen’s College is hosting a conference, other schools should be invited to participate, when possible, because “we are one people, one nation and one destiny,” he elaborated, “our destinies are intertwined.”

The conference with the students is being held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. QCAANY was formed on August 21, 1991. The NY-based non-profit’s stated purposes include to provide financial and other forms of material assistance to the school and to associate with any non-profit organization involved in assisting Guyanese in Guyana and elsewhere. To learn more, please email QCAANY at nychapter@qcguyanaalumny.org and visit the organization on the internet at

This article is pure public relations.  The reality of what happened was much different.  Talk to the QC students and they will tell you.  Does This article tell you anything about meeting with Granger?  And what was the purpose of that meeting?  And exactly who was invited?

Haul you rass. That picture stinks of PNC racism.

Indos are not invited under Daddy Burnham's PNC.

PNC only needed a few Indo votes to start part two of their agenda and it is now evident of where Indos rank.

I think everyone should be welcomed to the Diwali celebration.  It just seems unusual that an organization that alienates Indians have suddenly become a part of the celebration.  Kudos to you for being a member.  I hope they treat you well because from the information that I have Indians are either not wanted, or have chosen not to be a member, because of the nature of the group.  Are you the only Indian member?

Bibi I know that the fact that Kari rejects you has you all confused, but ask yourself this.

Why would a group which rejects Indians participate in Diwali and DONATE the cost of the 3rd prize?

Don't you think that you are being idiotic in your emotional reaction, merely because you hate Kari because he doesn't love you?

This is a GOOD THING and is the type of thing which Guyanese should do.  RESPECT the aspects of GUYANESE culture, and PARTICIPATE in it regardless as to whether a particular aspect of this GUYANESE culture might personally be ours or not.

So cease your CRAP. It makes you look foolish.

Bibi only responds to Kari. Every night as she pleasures herself with her vibrator (its name is Kari) she thinks of him making torrid love to her.

As they say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.  Down to even calling the school which educated loads of PPP folks a "PNC" school.  Wonder what Plumpy Priya, or Anil would think of this.

Chief, two fullahman talking Diwali. I understand it's a 4-day Event with Nov 10th or 11th being the culmination.

Vish and I were at the Parade with 2 other members of the QC Association in NY. While the 3rd prize for the float was presented in our Association's name by Laxshmee, we did not participate in the motorcade. We didn't have much time for preparation, as was known. I had to leave early for the Hasan Minhaj show (he of Comedy Central's the Daily Show) and the motorcade started late.

we will have a greater presence next year.

As part of our embrace of all things Guyanese, we're looking at Paghwah next spring, and hope to attend Iftar dinners (and your masjid will be one) and maybe collaborate with the Islamic school. The QC Association must be seen as encompassing all things Guyanese. This year's Events in Queens during the 40th anniversary of the advent of female students in the school was a huge step. Last week there was the Students' conference that we hosted.

Kari
