I always suspect DG used to catch some small change by the roundabout late at night

I remember those days. Long sweetie lasted longer and you got 2 for a lil jill.

There was one called Neva done sweetie, that thing was hard and lasted a long time. How  bout the ones that looked like pink mice, they hung from a string across the counter of the shop. Another thing. When I tell people here of the ham that hung from the ceiling of grocery stores at Christmas time I would see the "awe" look on their faces.

There was one that had a brown color and was called bull's eye. That thing would last about a half-hour in your mouth. Hard as a rock. The Pink Mouse, I forgot about that one.
