Don't you coolies understand that even pure self-interest dictate a speedy end to the current constitutional arrangements?

We're already a minority. We're just a minority clinging onto executive power. We have nothing else except the soft power of ill gotten economic domination.

As a group, we're ill suited to living under this Constitution. We do not have the entrenched state power of the security forces, the judiciary, or the bureaucracy to bargain with.

Wouldn't it make sense to make a good deal while we still hold the reins of power over the state?

Unfortunately, you are correct. Dictatorships tend to lose touch with reality.

I remember a private conversation with a certain Minister and another certain person of some renown. They were going on about something that they really really believed was important. I wanted to be polite and not say anything negative. But it was just sooooooo stupid I had to be honest. I reminded them politely that no one really cares about this pre-1992 matter. OH LORD....like I spoke heresy.

I'm convinced these people live on their own planet with their own scientific laws that bend at will.
