Name me one single instance of any Opposition party being accused of rigging successfully against an incumbent. Name one chap!

It just happened..  The US help the PNC rigged the election.  They threaten the  GECOM boss.  Just ask Jimmy carter who did it.  The fact is that they were afraid to hold a recount tells me that rigging was done.

Nope. Not delusional. Antimanish. You know what would make this even more antimanish? If it is indeed true that the PNC successfully rigged as an Opposition party, a distinct possibility, then this is beyond antimanish that there has to be some term for gang bang buggery or something.....beyond everyday PPP buggery.

The PPP remains unevolved since the 70s.

1. They still think that "scare collie about bad black man gun rape you daughter" will win elections.  Note that in the 70s Indians were over 50% of the population, and presumably also the voting base.  Now Indians are under 50% and DECLINING.  The Amerindian vote has helped the PPP, and indeed did so big time this election, but with no PPP patronage, much of this vote will go, unless the coalition messes up.

2.  They still like to play the victim to "baad black man" thinking that the world will care.  What they fail to understand is the rapacious corruption, extrajudicial killings, consorting with drug lords, and their rampant racism and crony capitalism, turned off the ABC nations and many of the international organizations which sympathized with them in the 80s.

International agencies and the ABC nations feel that the election was free and fair and that what ever discrepancies which exist aren't enough to change the results. 

The PPP needs to focus on transforming itself.  In the possibly unlikely event that the coalition delivers a Guyana where economic growth accrues to the masses, and not just to a few oligarchs, they will make valid inroads into the Indian vote.  Indians aren't in love with the PPP.  They just fear the PNC, and if the PNC proves to them that they aren't to be feared, an untransformed PPP will become irrelevant.

So why doesn't the PPP focus on transforming itself away from being a "collie party".  Indians aren't monolithic, and increasingly there aren't enough of them.   The PPP will need to make inroads into the African/mixed vote as this is growing. 

BTW one cannot separate the mixed vote from the black vote, so folks better don't even try.  I already hear Rev thinking that  distinct mixed voting bloc exists.
