Cain, Trump just ordered 3M to stop shipping masks from America to Canada. My advise to Canadians is to start tying your handkerchiefs around your faces like in them old time Western cowboy movies.  

Fortunately for the United States, Canada don't live by the ME FIRST rule.  When the US  have a natural disaster, Canada will always be there to assist.

Before the virus came to Canada, they assisted China with a lot of criticism, now China is assisting Canada.

Your post display well the reason why some Americans are most disliked and not welcome in many countries. Try travelling with an American flag on your backpack and see what happens.  The world is a Global Village where we need to help each other and if America feels they can survive alone with bigger guns, they are other ways to isolate a people.

Unlike Trump who thinks and do things alone, Trudeau don't  act alone in helping other countries. He is accountable to his cabinet, the opposition and the people of Canada. That is why he barely squeezed in to form the last government and if he don't play by the rules, he is out next time. If he tries to buy an election with millions that he don't have, his own RCMP will lock him up in no time. 

A report was recently done whether the attitudes of Americans caused the virus to spread more quickly in their country. I have my own theory, based on what I see regarding the attitudes of  some Guyanese in the US.
