The A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) and the Alliance For Change (AFC) coalition officially launched its 2015 elections campaign Saturday evening in the mining town of Linden, holding firm to its slogan ‘the time is now’ and urging residents of Region 10 (Upper Demerara/Berbice) to vote 99 per cent for them. (So there will be no need for rigging again)?

(1) Facts: The PNC rig every election and held office illegally for 28 years, said Moses Nagamootoo.

(2) Facts: The PPP was elected for 23 years continuously and given the mandate by the people in a free and fair election to govern Guyana.

More history lesson on its way....

Indians are no longer prostitutes to be sold, Moses. They had enough of your lies. You and Ramjattan will get kicked by the same PNC for being traitors to your people. Jagan never trusted you and now the people don't trust you.

Don't forget your history!

The PPP sold out Guyana!

They arranged scams in Amalia, Surendra Specialty, Surendra Pumps, Marriott, Skeldon Factory, etc.

More Indians and Indian businessmen have died under the PPP's reign than under the Burnham PNC's years of dictatorship.

History shows that in 23 years, the country is the least safe it has ever been (counting in the old PNC years); the water is red and not 24-hours; electricity supply is erratic; absence of street lights; poor roads; lots of mosquitoes; unemployment is high; UG is collapsing; garbage everywhere; Internet is slow; monopolies control phone and internet; the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer.

But look at the bright side of our history - we have a Marriott with a Casino! God bless Guyana!

Is this the current history you want us to remember?

Guyana’s economic status creates a sense of well-being and pride. In spite of the Opposition's constant attempts at blunting development projects, by mid-2014 the size of Guyana's economy had increased by a whopping 25 percent to $650 billion. Statistics show that Guyana has attracted more than US$629 million in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). This type of investment is what facilitates growth and expansion, and the creation of jobs.

"I have a choice: I would rather deal with the worst of the PPP than the very best of the PNC. So, let's put it to rest."

Luckily most normal people would not think like that.  Guyana deserves to live.  The working poor deserve a better life while the Ministers get their $2m dental cleaning, and loot the treasury.

We cannot condemn the working poor to perpetual misery.  That is wicked. Guyana is a rich country and all people (Black and Indian)should have a higher standard of living.

Luckily, we have real, nationalistic leaders who will not be prisoners of racial prisms, that are willing to take political risks in working for national unity.  God bless Moses, Ramjattan and Granger.

The PPP/C has delivered
The PPP/C took a bankrupt economy in 1992 and made it viable, while the Peoples’ National Congress (PNC) took a credible economy and bankrupted and run the country into the ground.

Economic growth is not the same as economic development. Infusion of narco dollars may cause growth; growth is not the same as development.

These jokers make a big deal when people open up fast food restaurants, but have failed to set up canning industries in the rural areas.

Actually, under the PPP there were lots of ways people try to move drugs out of the country in food items, planes, etc.

How about that special plane that got seized?  What did it usually carry out?
