This is the reason I write extensively about my Guyanese life and family history for our kids. When I first start teaching them about  car maintenance, they did not even know what was the dip-stick. I went to a mechanic shop and the mechanic told his assistant to push the brake pedal and the asst. replied  "Is that the right or left pedal" ?

I normally give rotary phones to kindergarten classes and surprised to see the kids pressing the number to make a phone call.

Simple things we grow up with in GY, seems so foreign to overseas Guyanese kids. But the world has changed a lot.

That is how it looks, but it's coming very soon.  There are some people who would like to see that nothing is coming so they can gloat and laugh at the PPP.
