Driller with most rigs offshore Guyana seeking services from local contractors
Noble Drilling is seeking multiple services in the new oil producing country of Guyana where it is operating four of the six rigs on contract with oil major ExxonMobil.
The company has put out Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Ground Transportation, Hotel Accommodation and Personnel Logistics Services.
Noble said the services being sought are for crew changes of the rigs it has operating offshore. Estimated personnel for arrival, accommodation and transportation are up to 50 outbound and up to 50 inbound during each crew change week. Crew changes are based on a rotation, regardless of national holidays.

Among other requirements, contractors must demonstrate certificate of incorporation as proof of Guyanese ownership of their operations and must be registered with the Centre for Local Business Development by the time the EOI is submitted.
The Noble Bob Douglas, Tom Madden, Don Taylor and Sam Croft currently form part of the ExxonMobil fleet conducting exploration, appraisal and development drilling operations offshore Guyana.

It was announced in February that Noble Corporation and ExxonMobil had entered a unique commercial enabling agreement for drilling services in the Guyana-Suriname Basin. The agreement defines contract terms for the continuation of drilling services using certain drilling units in Nobleβs fleet.
