Drunk GuySuCo Manager threatens to urinate on cops
Skeldon Estate Manager, Dave Kumar, who was recently embroiled in a drunken brawl at the estate leading to a general strike on the location and other estates, is at it again.
Kumar, on Sunday morning shortly after 00:45 hrs, was arrested by a police patrol on the Corriverton Public road while he was urinating in the centre of the thoroughfare.
According to a reliable source, Kumar and some other senior Managers were at the Grill Night Spot at Corriverton and got into some altercations. The man left the night club, boarded the estate vehicle PPP 6414 along with the Agriculture Manager and proceeded to drive along the road.
He stopped a few doors from the Republic Bank at Corriverton and started to urinate in the middle of the road.
When he was rebuked he became abusive. At the same time a police patrol was passing and stopped and enquired of the men what was going on. Mr. Kumar continued to urinate and threatened to urinate on the cops.
The cops proceeded to arrest him and his colleague. The key for the vehicle was taken away and they were taken to the Springlands Police Station where they were booked.
Investigations are continuing and charges are likely.
Kumar was embroiled in an altercation on the Estate on Friday September 19, last, with an employee, Stephen Daniels.
According to a source the Estate Manager and two of his colleagues were reportedly on a drinking spree on Friday. Around 23:30hrs several workers were on a bridge at the Dock Mill supervising the offloading of cane when the Manager came around and asked the men to move.
According to Daniels he was among the men.
They were on a bridge overlooking operations when Kumar visited. He asked them to move. It is understood that Daniels refused to move immediately and that triggered Kumarβs anger.
Daniels was dismissed with immediate effect the next day.
