Finally, it seems, that the Granger/Nagamotoo Administration is doing something about the shabby work that is being performed at Durban Park.

Hopefully, it would be completed by the grand jubilee celebrations in May.

Let us hope for a safe independence anniversary.

Indos are being slaughtered and murders are at an alarming rate.

How safe is Guyana for Indos returning from overseas ?

Will they be robbed and or murdered ?

There is a fellow named Simon Bikindi who is serving 15 years in jail having been convicted by  the Hague for lies against the Tutsi in two songs. His lies are no less than yours above.

Violence in Guyana knows no race. It is opportunistic and random and to date this year more Africans are dead on account of the violence. Additionally indian on indian violence exceeds African on indian violence.

You coming here and shouting these lies to incite hate is not doing us or you any good. Indeed we need to stop the frequent murders but what we are seeing here is the consequence of us becoming a drug culture with addicts in every strata of society but mainly among the young.

Add to that the fact that our community show one in four of our young women are a victim of rape and a third of women are victims of domestic abuse etc you are telling the convenient story for your racist narrative but not the true story which is that ours is a violent society with each race contribution their fair share.

The design for the park is almost insultingly ugly and the work is poor. The contractor ought to be jailed for such horrible work. There is no excuse for it. Worse of all it shows poor oversight.
