Have a nice EID everyone.
Celebrating today.
Eid Mubarak!
Guys, so what's on the menu -- sheep, goat? I miss my neighbors' Seerni.
Sheep and goat is not Muslimsâ choice for meat. Today is all about the cow. Preferably curried. Lots of families will meet up at our house. But first we have to put up with this bannaâs sermon at the masjid.
I still make icing glass but now it is easier because it comes in powder form.

Thanks bro. I ate so much I regret not wearing a larger shirt. There is something special about that beef curry at the masjid. ð
Now is lil calm until house start buzzing. ð

Maybe I'll have a nice steak, mashed potatoes and freshly baked bread for lunch, after I finish this Nigerian Visa online application -- the form is too complicated.

Steak is always a good bet. Hey Leonora, did you see on the news that white meat is as bad for oneâs health as red one? Seems like one only need to choose what they like. ð Maybe the cattle ranchers association is doing some heavy lobbying. ð

I miss some warm seerni myself. Seerni is probably an East Indian Guyanese thing because I don't see Pakistanis and Indians eating it.
Eid Mubarak greetings to all who observe !
Church, we missed you. Hope all's well.

Was in DC two weeks ago had a couple days to kill but found other things to do. Went to Mt. Vernon , spent a day there , returned to DC completed my business and returned to NJ. Missed EA as he was out of town.
Thank you all for the Eud greetings.
Ramadan was wonderful , now we pray for God Almighty to accept our prayers. Fasting, charity and all good things that we have done during the holy month.
NYC and certain areas in Long Island surely felt like a holiday due to school beingb closed in observance of Eid.
Insha Allah , in about another 20 years we will see Eid as a State holiday in places like NY, Michigan etc.
