What is wrong using the oil money to better the lives of the Guyanese people. Do you want Exxon to take 90% of the proceeds and give scraps to the dogs? The rich will get richer and the poor will suck balls. You see what the US multinational companies do to other poor countries. Check and see the deal Exxon made with Equatorial Guinea. Check and see the standard of living in that country. Check see who gets the oil money. 

The Government should set up a board which will control the production of oil and the ownership. Guyana should retain a 51% stake on the venture.
