DEMERARA WAVES --- A boat carrying Prime Minister, Samuel Hinds up the Canje River, Berbice was Friday afternoon involved in a minor incident but no one was injured, a senior regional official said.

The official explained that the captain of the 250 Horsepower fiberglass boat “banked a turn too rash” and ended up in the bush on a river bank.

However, the mission to Baracara was aborted and the boat carrying 11 persons returned.
