Walter Willis

STABROEK NEWS, JULY 11 --- Engineer Walter Willis, 66, passed away this morning at the Balwant Singh Hospital.

Willis collapsed suddenly and is believed to have suffered a heart attack.

Willis oversaw many important government projects for a number of years.

Minister of Public Infrastructure, David Patterson this morning described his death as a “great loss to the ministry”. He expressed shock at Willis’ passing as he had been well up to Friday.

He was a effective fixture in the Infrastructure development for decades.

He will be sadly missed
