Ok folks

Let me be the first to admit that as a FORMER PPP supporter that Georgetown is now experiencing a breath of fresh air under APNU.

GT Mayor Hamilton has suddenly turned Green.

Cleaning up of GT has started and trees replanted as the Mayor turns Green.

Wow !

What a difference a new government makes ! Time for Jalil to give us a news update.

According to unconfirmed reports, a certain group of protesters in GT were caged and police were on the outside perimeter offering protection to citizens from being affected by the stench emanating from the ROTTEN protesters.

Go Green !

Congrats to APNU and President Granger. Wait, and Mayor Greene.

i wish if they could restore the place to the "garden city" that we all hope for. I really do not care if the collation or the PPP does it. Every Guyanese would be proud of a beautiful GT with  lots of flowers. Red flowers, green flowers, white flowers - what a beauty. Jobs could also be created looking after those flower plants.

Sooba had instructions to make sure that GT stayed filthy and flooded so that Hamilton looked inept. Now that the man knows he is again in charge he is doing his bit as requested by the president. Hamilton, just like the rest of the old guards, know that this could be their last chance to have a job before having to retire. Not all of them have a big pension scheme so I can see why suddenly many of them are pulling their fingers out.

jobs for the boys.  This government is very progressive.

There is a shortage of chicken.  They should pump more money into that farm and fulfill their promise of feeding the nation.

Whatever Hamilton Green was, he once held a reputation for getting things done.

As Mayor, he was made impotent by a series of Town Clerks and Local Government ministers from Clinton Collymore to Kellawan Lall to the recent one.

It's nice to see him putting his shoulders to the wheel in the drive to clean up and beautify Georgetown. It is time.
