There are many other housing schemes like these across the length and breath of Guyana

These people certainly see progress in Guyana from a different perspective, especially given the state of the access road today, and being one that was rebuilt under the PPP.

Not every road, alley way, curb, bridge, pavement etc can be fixed at the same time given our limited resources. This does not say that these citizens at some point or the other will not experience the development being experienced in other villages, wards, communities et al.
Of course i don't expect your address to them later today to take this line......
On the contrary, I will be very fair, and that will make my points come across even stronger.quote:Originally posted by SJ4321:quote:Originally posted by Gerhard Ramsaroop:

Looking at another dimension, despite the sordid picture they paint of how bad things are in Guyana, the critics themselves have been able to live relatively comfortably lives, some are also unable to explain their wealth:
A broke Mark Benschop prior to his incarceration, became the owner of these two SUVs after being released

He bought this house in Roxanne Burnham Gardens

He has control over this South Ruimveldt property(not too certain if it's his)

The East Street building which houses the Benschop foundation was recently transported in his name

Its speaks of the level of progress taking place which they either deny outright or just down play.

You guys did that already. The problem is you only look at one side of the coin. The underlying factor is there has been progress. And even those who say 'no' have experienced it.
