That there is a baseline for what qualifies as adequate health care is a plus since no protections for consumers ever existed. There are no pre existing conditions and not charging of women beyond the standard fare for men...this is a great law and any tweaking will only make it better.

To get a more accurate picture one would have to include corporate welfare citizens. Corporations are people my friend. The biggest beneficiary I believe is Exxon Mobil - subsidies, tax breaks, etc.

 Even your sleigh of hand numbers are incorrect, you first mentioned welfare now you change your tune to "benefits from a govt program". First of all the 47% quoted by your hero Romney was applied to Americans living in households where at least one person was collecting govt benefits, which includes Social Security benefits(which we pay for), unemployment insurance, financial aid for school, food stamps and so forth. If you have an elderly parent living with you then you automatically get added to the 47%.

But even the disingenuous 47% is incorrect, try more like 96% of households receive govt benefits in one form or another.
