I got my dad's family information going back to the 1800s in Darbhanga, Bihar and Lancaster, England in the 1700s.

My mother's paternal line are two brothers who came with their wives and children on the same ship circa 1890-1900. On this ship my great-grandfather Yusuf was born. I just can't locate his birth certificate or ship records in our family because they were lost.

My only clue, which I'm hoping D2 can assist with, is that Yusuf's father Tahir Hussain (the indentured immigrant) came on the same ship with his brother who founded the Gafoor clan. I just need the info for the Gafoor clan to pick up the boat name and year.
